The Text result block adds a block of words to your output area — a heading, an explanation, a disclaimer, or any supporting copy that sits alongside your calculated numbers.
When to use it
Use a Text result to frame your results: introduce a section, explain what a number means, or add fine print under a total. It renders read-only text and inherits your project's secondary font, so it matches the rest of your output styling automatically.
Add the block
- In the editor, switch to the Output view.
- Click + Add and choose Text.
- Select the block to edit its content and settings.
Edit the text
Type directly into the block's title field on the canvas, or edit it from the Text group in settings. You can also turn on a Description for a secondary line of copy and a Tooltip for an info icon with hover text.
Size and weight
In the Text group:
- Size — Small, Medium, or Large.
- Weight — Regular or Bold.
Background and spacing
- Block background — set a fill color behind the text.
- Block Spacing — adjust the top and bottom padding so the text sits correctly between other result blocks.
